How often must power-operated gates be inspected?

In Germany, power-operated gates and doors in workplaces, such as sectional doors, roller doors, sliding gates or automatic sliding doors, must be inspected regularly by an expert (Sachkundiger). The focus is on the safety devices against crushing and shearing.
